General Information:

Unlimited number of applications to first online round

Max. 24 pianists, 12 pianists in each category will be admitted to the FINALS (live, in-person).

Each finalist will receive a Finalist Diploma and Finalist Trophy. 

Each teacher of any finalist will receive an Excellency Diploma Award. 

Each video submission for the preselection round will receive Jury feedback and Participation Diploma.


Special prizes to be announced, to be decided, but maybe:

  • Best performance of an Etude

  • Best performance of a Nordic piece

Young Artists

Ages 15-19, inclusive
(Born between 14 April 2005 and 13 April 2010)

REPERTOIRE
Pre-selection round online by video: max 20 min
-1. One work of virtuoso character (e.g. etude or toccata)
-2. One work of free choice, ca 5-10 min


Final Round (on site in Arvika, (max 25 min):

• free repertoire, but

• including one work of virtuoso character

The repertoire in the finals may not be the same as in the Pre-selection round

Ages 11-15, inclusive
(Born between 14 April 2009 and 13 April 2014)

REPERTOIRE
Pre-selection round online by video (max 15 min):
-1. One work of virtuoso character (e.g. etude or toccata)
-2. One work of free choice, ca 3-10 min.


Final Round (on site in Arvika, (max 20 min):

• free repertoire, but

• including one work of virtuoso character

The repertoire in the finals may not be the same as in the Pre-selection round
